Geneva, 13 June 2018: Leading agricultural commodity business Glencore Agriculture has today joined nearly 200 forward-thinking companies as the newest member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).
Glencore Agriculture is a market leader in originating, handling, processing and marketing agricultural commodities. The company is active in more than 35 countries and employs more than 14,000 people globally. Glencore Agriculture joins a unique collaboration of agriculture companies at WBCSD who are working to transform how food is produced, processed and transported.
With a focus on sustainability, safety and a high-quality supply chain, Glencore Agriculture are committed to safeguarding customers, employees, local communities and the environment.

Glencore Agriculture becomes WBCSD’s 14th global member company in the food industry and its 16th with headquarters in the Netherlands.
