Geneva, 22 January 2019: This year, WBCSD’s Food Reform for Sustainability and Health (FReSH) project has held three Science to Solutions Dialogues (SSDs), involving academia, business and civil society. These dialogues aimed to prompt strategic discussions to accelerate the learning curve of the solution space for food systems transformation before the publication of the EAT-Lancet Commission Report early 2019.
Today, FReSH shares the summary paper of the third SSD entitled Everybody Eating Well within Environmental Limits. This three-day dialogue aimed to answer a challenging question: how can we feed almost 10 billion people with sustainable and healthy diets? The summary of the discussion sets out three mutually supportive narratives to focus business action and the key solutions. This paper asks for critical feedback by which we want to progress the debate and create a platform for collaborative action and impact.
