Geneva, 26 September 2023 - The World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) has opened registrations for its upcoming educational programs: the Leadership Program 2024 and the LEAP Program 2024.
These programs have been collaboratively developed in partnership with prominent academic institutions and forward-thinking member companies. They offer participants the opportunity to gain cutting-edge insights, engage in peer-to-peer exchanges, and undergo experiential learning to better comprehend and apply intricate sustainability principles within their business environments.

Leadership Program 2024
The WBCSD Leadership Program, conducted in partnership with IMD and Yale University, offers significant value to both current and aspiring leaders. Nominations are currently open for the class of 2024. With over two decades of excellence in providing knowledge to representatives from nearly 150 companies regarding the sustainability agenda, our Leadership Program equips participants with insights into how businesses are innovatively addressing sustainability challenges and opportunities.
This highly interactive program employs various educational formats, including traditional classroom-based learning and experiential activities, to explore how companies are integrating new considerations into their business strategies and day-to-day decision-making. Participants who successfully complete the program will receive academic certification from the Yale School of Management and IMD.

LEAP Program 2024
WBCSD's LEAP Program, which focuses on women and sustainability and is conducted in collaboration with ESADE Business School and Yale University, aims to expand horizons and raise awareness among business leaders about the need to reevaluate our operating systems to unlock a more sustainable future. Eligible participants for the LEAP Program are female executives from WBCSD member companies.
The LEAP Program is a one-year sustainability training initiative designed to empower women to attain senior leadership roles in their organizations while ensuring sustainability is ingrained in their leadership approach and company strategy. Participants partake in a comprehensive three-week training, coaching activities, and cross-mentorship with C-suite executives from participating companies. Upon program completion, participants will receive diplomas from the Yale School of Management and ESADE Business School.
