Geneva, 16 October 2014 - Small teams of young people (ages 18-35) will self-organize to develop a solution to issues that development financing institutions and private sector actors are struggling with. This also includes topics related to Business and Development Innovation.
The finalists and winners will be selected by a panel of academics and experienced development and business professionals. The awards are meant to both promote the implementation of the winning team’s submission and also provide them with unique networking opportunities. In addition to the "essay/case competition" this initiative also provides a "learning and knowledge exchange platform" for young people to share ideas even if they do not plan to submit essays. The program targets students and young professionals globally.
