Purpose:
The purpose of the tool is to support Chief Financial and Chief Risk Officers understand the role they can play in embedding climate, nature and equity considerations into decision-making processes and contribute towards achieving Net Zero, Nature Positive and Equity goals and ambitions. It seeks to encourage cross-collaboration between different departments and functions to help drive change.

This tool is open to anyone and is relevant to a variety of sectors. There is also a Food & Agriculture specific version of the tool. While the tool has been developed with CFOs and CROs in mind, it is meant to foster cross-functional collaboration and can therefore be useful for several business functions (e.g. sustainability, risk, finance, procurement, etc.). It can also be used by consultancies, NGOs, business associations working closely with the private sector and keen to understand how best to support companies along their sustainability journey.
