Banks alone manage US$140 trillion of assets and institutional investors over US$100 trillion. Capital markets, including bonds and equities, exceed US$100 trillion and US$73 trillion respectively.

In order to scale-up current business solutions and technologies, WBCSD seeks to connect its membership of +200 corporate sustainability leaders - in addition to the opportunities in our existing work programs - much closer with the financial sector’s leading banks, credit-raters, investors, insurers and stock exchanges, and vice versa.
