Invest India: Business Immunity Platform

Invest India, a national investment promotion and facilitation agency, has set up a Business Immunity Platform (BIP), a comprehensive resource to help businesses and investors get real-time updates on India’s active response to COVID-19.

This dynamic and constantly updating platform keeps a regular track on developments in the control of the virus, provides the latest information on various central and state government initiatives, gives access to special provisions, and answers and resolves queries through emails and on WhatsApp.

The BIP has a rapid query response team of 150 people to help industries and investors in procurement of raw materials, logistical support and regulatory approvals, and the platform provides useful resources such as:

• Nodal officers for facilitating customs clearance during Covid-19
• Local companies innovating and helping mitigate COVID-19 impacts
• Measures taken by the Indian government to aid businesses during COVID-19 lockdown
