Yi is a Senior Associate in the Corporate Performance & Accountability (CP&A)* team at the World Business Council For Sustainable Development (WBCSD). In this role, he is shaping the dialogues between business and finance sectors on sustainable transformation, and has led initiatives related to ESG integration in investor decision making. Yi is based in the WBCSD North America office.
Prior to the WBCSD, Yi worked in the energy industry with a focus on corporate strategy and M&A. He was a Research Supervisor at the China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), reporting to the Group Chief Economist; and also served in the Corporate Development team at a leading biomass producer in the US. He holds a BA in Public Finance from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in China, a MSc in Economic History from Lund University in Sweden and an MBA from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business.
